Only Girl

Today, Rihanna's first single off her next album, "Only Girl (In the World)", premiered on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. It apparently ask her to be treated right as a woman and a lover. I had read that it is the one year of Chris Brown's sentence, which makes this song very close to Rihanna. The song has the sound that will get many plays on the radio and top the charts. This one is a must listen! Enjoy!

DJ Flo in Venice Beach

Last Sunday I went to go chill with the homie DJ Flo for a bit. He had just spun at The Bridge and The High Rooftop Lounge a couple days earlier. I caught him while he was spinning at Venice Beach. He was the dj of the day for the Venice Basketball League. When I asked Flo about it, he said it reminded him of Rucker Park back in Harlem, NY. DJ Flo definitely held it down like he always does. Alongside him was his homie Jonesey, who also held it down on the turntables. Next up for Flo is a trip to Zurich. The Swiss definitely love him too. Keep on your grind Flo! As a treat, I have attached a little Rihanna get up that the crowd dug. Enjoy!

Green Lantern Runs This Town

Jay Z's "Run This Town" is one of the hottest hip-hop songs out right now. DJ Green Lantern mixes and mashes up a bit of Lil Wayne verses from other songs [Birdman Ft. Lil Wayne - "I Run This" ] with this one, and sounds like this tune could be more for dj's to mix in, but I think still you bloggers may enjoy this change of pace by Green Lantern. Give it a shot.
