Goodbye 2009

Well, it's NYE on the last day of 2009. I know I've been slacking a little bit, but can't I enjoy my vacation in sunny southern Cali? I'm just messing. These next couple days I will have plenty for you. My next mixtape is just about underway, so I'll keep you updated about that. As for 2009, I want to thank all my listeners and followers. DJ Earworm has released his yearly review mashup. He chooses his songs off the Top 25 Hits of 2009, according to Billboard. He takes the word mashup literally, and doesn't let more than 5 words come at a time from one artist. He only releases about 3 or so mashups a year, so it's a real treat when he releases it. This is a sound that Akon would not normally be used to. However, it works for this tune.The instrumentals feature a rock sound with the electric guitars. The artist Akon features is Phillopine. His voice is also pretty unique, which makes this song so experimental. I think Akon is trying to be creative and out of the box to gain some more attention, but I think he is doing a pretty good job. Give this one a shot. Enjoy.

We Do It Again

Today, the Disco Villains sent me some remixes they had done a while back, but are now allowed to be seen my the public eye. The Disco Villains never disappoint with their remixes. They remixed an electronic tune from Sodas 'N' Suds. Sodas 'N' Suds, for those who don't know are a Belgian duo who "produce and spin madly raving electro, spiced by influences from all sorts of subgenres, from punk and progrock over techno and figet." The hardhitting sounds from this remix sounds almost dubstep, but I love when the bass kicks repeatedly. As for the Disco Villains, stay tuned, because some new stuff is set to drop soon! We Run LA

I just peeped this one over at one of my new blogmate's blog Robot Ears. The original song "We Run LA" has been a huge hit, especially down in sunny Southern California. Dr. Hollywood is slowing rising in the game, but I feel like not enough people are noticing. I hope this post helps just a little bit. Woo Woo! Not only is this the second post of the day but it's from The White Panda. I can tell your just as excited as I am. I wake up, I look at my phone only to see they have emailed me their weekly fix. I'm tired as hell but it surely woke up. XI - LSC Anniversary Mix

Last week, DJ Risk One released the 11th anniversary mixtape for the Last Supper Club. It is pure electro. He did an absolute awesome job with this one. We both released mixtapes last week, and honestly, his blows mine away. The tracks he threw on this mix are songs I wouldn't have even thought of. Another one for Sparty's Top 5! This tune dropped yesterday and I definitely had to bring it to you. "Cudderisback" from what I read and can see, seems like a freestyle, but it's definitely awesome. It has such an original sound to it, and I don't expect anything less from Kid Cudi. He is one of my favorite artists right now. The song has a real jingle to it. My only problem with it, is it is too short, but it still pops off. Check this one out! Enjoy!
